Behind our kennel name Jaffadays are Susanne and Mikael Lundin. We live on a farm with lots of green areas, close to Bjärred in the south western part of Sweden.

Me, Susanne, is a nurse and have worked in health care for 20 years. Today I run a dog day care center and a hotel for cats here on our farm. Mikael works with IT, but is also a "hobby farmer" and manages the crops belonging to the lands.

Our very first litter of puppies was born in april 1991, and was a litter of hovawart. In those days, before our own children were born, we spent our free time exercising and competing with our two dogs. Some breeding too, but we had some bad luck with our girls.

1998 our first sheltie, Sally, moved in to us after a long time searching. We were picky, and most of all mentality was an important factor for us. This lovely bitch had almost everything, and she came to be the start of our sheltie kennel. Our beloved Sally became 13 years old, and was the definition of healthy. She had a beautiful temperament which she inherited to most of her offspring. She is the mother of CH Jaffadays Tiptop Telma "Mini".

The goal with our breeding is to bring healthy puppies with good exterior to life. a sound mentality is extremely important for us. It is a must for the dog to be able to function and feel good in today's society.
